Greenwood 003

Greenwood Station opened on February 26, 1966 as part of the original stretch of the Bloor–Danforth line, serving a quiet pocket of the east end just south of the rail corridor and the TTC’s Greenwood Yard. The station feels practical and local, connecting nearby homes, schools, and small businesses to the rest of the city with a steady, low-key flow of commuters.

Its design is simple and consistent with other stations from the era, but the surrounding area offers interesting visual contrasts—from the industrial edges near the yard to the residential blocks a short walk away. My photography for Greenwood is still incomplete, and I’ll be returning to capture more shots.
